William Needham is Co-Chair of the European Financial Restructuring group at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s London office. He acts for companies, sponsors and investors on domestic and cross-border financial restructurings, distressed debt, complex capital solutions, bespoke financings and alternative investments across Europe. He also advises on related M&A and buy outs, acquisition finance, fund investments and disputes.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, he worked as a Managing Director at KKR & Co. Inc. as European Head of Restructuring, Co-Head of Sustainable Credit and formerly as the European General Counsel for KKR Credit sitting on multiple Committees and the boards of portfolio companies.

He sits on the private debt advisor committee of the Principles for Responsible Investment and the private debt committee of the European Leveraged Finance Association.
