Matthew Childers is an associate in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings, and is based in the firm's Chicago office. His practice focuses on private equity and M&A transactions for public and private companies. He also assists clients with general corporate, corporate governance, restructuring, and tax matters.

Mr. Childers received his law degree from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2022, where he served as an Associate Editor for Northwestern's Journal of International Law and Business. He earned an M.B.A. at Xavier University in 2019, as well as a B.A. in Political Science and B.B.A. in Economics, both magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky in 2015.
