Overview

Kane Yutaka Tenorio is an associate in the Litigation Department and is based in the firm's Los Angeles office. Mr. Tenorio focuses his practice on internal corporate investigations, and complex civil litigation. Mr. Tenorio represents a broad range of clients across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. With experience in all stages of litigation from pre-filing through trial and appeal, Mr. Tenorio defends individuals and companies in high-stakes civil cases and appeals.  

With a practice focusing on solving the cutting-edge litigation and regulatory issues faced by emerging industries, Mr. Tenorio has also represented officers and companies in court and arbitration proceedings related to intellectual property, cyber security, data privacy, NFTs, and cryptocurrency offerings. Mr. Tenorio also advises clients in the commercial space industry on regulatory concerns related to the New Space Economy, including regulatory compliance and licensing programs of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and Federal Communications Commission (FCC).  

Mr. Tenorio specializes in trial advocacy and regularly counsels clients in risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to litigation and regulatory concerns. Mr. Tenorio maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on assisting community organizations based in East Los Angeles.  

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Tenorio received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2023, where he served as the Executive Diversity & Outreach Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, Alumni Liaison for the Native American Law Student Association, and a member of the trial advocacy team. During law school, Mr. Tenorio interned for the SEC Division of Enforcement, EEOC Chair Charlotte Burrows, and Eastern District of Louisiana Judge Ivan L.R. Lemelle. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2018. Mr. Tenorio is admitted to practice law in California.
