Overview
Melanie Sedrish is an associate in the Global Finance practice. Her practice focuses on the representation of banks and other financial institutions as arrangers, agents, lenders, and underwriters in domestic and cross-border leveraged finance transactions, including sponsor-led acquisition financing, recapitalizations, syndicated senior loans, first lien/second lien and asset-based credit facilities, and private placements of secured and unsecured high-yield bonds.
Ms. Sedrish’s practice also includes representing numerous lenders to fintech companies as well as fintech originators as borrowers in complex financings, including leveraged and asset-based transactions secured by various types of fintech assets, such as consumer and small business loans, merchant cash advances, and credit card receivables.
Ms. Sedrish received her law degree from Columbia University School of Law in 2017. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Political Science from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2013.
