Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP advised mid-cap investor Bregal Unternehmerkapital ("BU") in the sale of MEDIA Central Group ("MEDIA Central") to TL Reach BidCo GmbH and its reinvestment (alongside other minority shareholders) of a significant amount of the sale proceeds into the combined group comprising MEDIA Central and Flipp Group ("Flipp"), creating a global market leader by combining the market-leading positions in Europe and North America for digital drive-to-store marketing, helping retailers and brands to increase customer demand.

The new ownership structure will be led by majority owner Truelink Capital and include BU funds and Highland Europe.

MEDIA Central is the leading European solution provider for offer communication and the preferred partner for retailers and brands. MEDIA Central supports its customers in over 30 countries from all sectors with integrated offer communication and is represented throughout Europe with over 900 employees at 21 locations in seven countries. Flipp is a Northern American Drive to Store Marketing specialist and has 400 employees in Canada and the US.

BU is the largest midcap investor headquartered in the DACH region, with a total of EUR 7 billion in capital raised since its establishment. The funds advised by BU invest in medium-sized companies based in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria.
